SwissBritNet

SwissBritNet is a database which documents scholarly, private, ecclesiastical and diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Britain in the early modern period. This is a test version. Eventually, SwissBritNet will offer

• hundreds of documents in transcription
• thousands of catalogue entries for letters, friendship albums and translations
• translational stories bringing relationships or events from this corpus into focus

SwissBritNet is being developed as a four-year-project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation and will share its data with HallerNet. Staff and project partners include scholars and researchers working in English, History and Digital Humanities
